EV Construction
Questions, Questions, Questions...
There are several questions that people ask before they build an electric car or bike. The most popular ones include...
- How much will this cost?
- How far can I drive?
- How fast will it go?
- How long will it take to charge?
We'll tackle those questions in an upcoming update of this page. But, first we want to ask you... Do you know how an EV works? Each component of an EV will help determine the "correct" answers to the above questions. Let's start by taking a look inside some famous and not so famous EV's.

If you are getting serious about doing an EV conversion project, the best way to start is by doing a bit of research. Taking a look at some of the links listed in this site should offer your some great ideas, and we hope it will generate many many questions. It is our advice that you ask as many questions as you can before you start to spend your money on major buys. At the same time, it is good to start saving for the project.
The research you do will help in answering those questions that were mentioned above. It's hard to know how much something will cost or how far you can drive it if you haven't decided how you want to approach your electric vehicle conversion project. Every choice you make in the planning will shape the answers to many questions you may have at the start. In addition, we are looking forward to you asking us specific questions about your unique EV project. We'll do our best to serve you. So, have fun researching!

Worried about the finances to fund an EV construction project?
Convenience is sometimes expensive. And the convenience of putting off that EV project you've been planning to do the last several years is eating away at your checking account (via gas). So, if you're serious about it, start making plans, and one of the first plans you need to make is saving. Yes, get an old jar and put 50% of of what you spend on gas in that jar each time you get gas. Watch it add up. If you are really ready to get serious about it, match the amount you spend on gas toward your EV project savings.
Ok, if this sounds like something you definitely could not do... that's fine. But, our point is this, one of your first plans should be a plan to save for the conversion expenses. Because, everyday of not having your EV could be money you could have saved but lost.
